Deep Sea Lizardfish
This terrifying fish is known as a scraggly toothed bathysaurus fish (Bathysaurus forex). It is also known as a deep sea lizardfish, named for its resemblance to a lizard. This species, however, looks more like a crocodile or some type of prehistoric monster. The bathysaurus fish is covered in tough scales and is either dark brown or black. it has black eyes as well as a black lining to the mouth and gill cavity. This species grows to a maximum size of 27 inches (70 centimeters) and is found at incredible depths of up to 11,400 feet (3,500 meters).
