Ribbon Eel
The ribbon eel (Rhinomuraena quaesita) or Bernis eel, is a species of moray eel. It gets its name from its thin, ribbon-like appearance. It is an elegant creature that resembles a mythical Chinese dragon. The males of the species are bright blue in color while the females tend to be yellow. The ribbon eel is found in lagoons and reefs in the Indian and Pacific oceans, ranging from eastern Africa to southern Japan, Australia and French Polynesia. The larger females of the species can grow to a length of 51 inches (130 centimeters)
